TREC On-Ramp

Students build and program robots to complete sensor-assisted navigation tasks. Students are also provided with the opportunity to explore physical sensor functionality and attachment, engineering labs, and STEMScience Technology Engineering and Math. STEM is a way to understand the world around you. It will help to empower you to succeed in many different fields. explorations.

Foundational Concepts:Science and Engineering Practices, Computational Thinking, Mathematical Processes and Proficiencies, Physical Sensor Functionality, Programming, Program Flow.

Module 1

Getting Started

Learn what the parts of your robot are and how to configure your system for physical and virtual worlds.

Module 2

Movement

Learn moving and turning, then take an Expedition to Atlantis and explore the Ruins of Atlantis collecting data and treasures as your travel.

Module 3

Sensors

Learn how different sensors function in our world and how to use them.

Module 4

Program Flow

Begin to understand the basic concepts behind programing.
